Work has commenced on the design of an exhibition that will display Ranee Margaret's collection of Sarawak Keringkam (embroidered head coverings), Songket and Kebarung - traditional Malay garments crafted by artisans of the period, skilled in ancient textile arts.
This incredible 140-year-old collection will soon be on display in Kuching in keeping with the Trust vision of preserving traditional Sarawakian arts and craft to inspire future generations of artisans.
